SPRINGFIELD FINDS

Hi...I'm back from Springfield, where I went antiquing with my daughts for the weekend!  What FUN we had!!  Going from one flea market to another, checking out all the new places I hadn't been to before....wishing I had brought a VAN with me, to haul all my great finds.  Saw lots of neat things for Fall, and it really put me in the mood to start thinking about pumpkins and guords (and much, much cooler weather)....doesn't hurt to WISH, does it?  lol   
Anyway...here is a list of some of my finds:  old wagon, wooden box w/hinged top, large black wooden tote, sm. wooden cabinet w/doors and fabric door pulls, metal kitchen drainer, #2 crock, red childs rocker, old gameboard.  Will have all of these items and more in my next sale on August 20th at my home, beginning at 9, and continuing till 1:00.  Follow my blog to find out the latest on my newest finds!!  Until next time...happy hunting, debbie

Buckets, Benches, Baskets and Bowls

Sorry, I haven't been on here lately....but I have been crazy busy with keeping everything going!  Between "treasure hunting" (which I love) and getting my house painted....plus this crazy "hot" weather...need I say more!  Just an update...my July sale went off GREAT, and I appreciate all the ladies who came out and supported me!  I am already starting to fill up the shop again with all of your favorite items....shutters, gates, benches, and more.  Getting ready to take alittle weekend "junk jaunt" in southern missouri....can't wait to see all the goodies I will find!  August 20th will be my next sale, so put that on your calendars!  Until then...happy hunting, debbie

SPRING SALE!

Well, its almost here....my shop is full...brimming over with primitives, garden items, easter bunnies and lots of other exciting fun stuff.  I am excited about my sale on Saturday, the 9th of April....it will be nice to see all of my customers again and get to visit with them.  The weather is suppose to be great...so YEA!!  I have my "Sugar Shack" candles too, and everyone loves them....they always smell so YUMMY!  My favorite is "apple crumb cake" which makes my WHOLE house smell so good.  Spring is such a fun time for decorating....digging out all my watering cans, garden gates, and clay pots....isn't it fun to decorate our yards for spring?  Don't forget to put out a bunny or two....easter is just around the corner.  Well, I gotta get back to last minute things still to do....hope to see some of you on Saturday....others I will talk to on here....happy hunting, debbie

New Sale Date!!

Well, the date has been set !!  Previously, I had hinted at a late March sale....but.....the date  for my "Spring Gathering" officially has been set for April 9th!!  I have been gathering all sorts of primitive items for the garden to decorate with.  This weather has really put me in the Spring-time" mood.   I found the cutest little shop the other day, called "Me and Freddie G".  It was all kinds of old windows, metal lawn chairs, a variety of planters and benches...and of course.....I WANTED IT ALL!!  Well, I have 2 more weeks to finish up gathering goodies for the sale....so until then....enjoy the outdoors!  See you soon....debbie

Shopping in Springfield!

Well, I am back from shopping at all my favorite spots in Springfield, and boy oh boy, what FUN!!  Of course, I am totally wore out, but that's the price you pay......for having such a good time LOL.  I found so many neat things for decorating inside and out....now I am just working on getting everything ready for my sale!  My spring show will be at the end of March....most likely around the 26th.  I am thinking spring.....so, look for wheelbarrows, clay pots, benches, wicker, planters, ladders, and of course, the EASTER BUNNY will have to show up!  Looking forward to seeing you all at the sale....till next time....happy hunting...debbie

First Sale at "The Barn"

Well, I had my first sale at "The Barn" and it was alot of fun!  Can't wait to re-stock my booth!!  Going on a shopping trip to Springfield, in which I hope to find all kinds of goodies!!  Places I hope to shop:  Spring River Antiques, Std Fleas, Ozark Antique shops and whatever I find on the way (ha-ha).  I should be a great 3 days of SHOPPING!  Will put a list of all my "great finds" on here, when I get back.....hope the weather is sunny and warm (crossing my fingers) and of course, I hope to eat at "Merles"....all things St. Louis Cardinals!!  Maybe even find a quaint little tea room....all in all it should be alot of FUN!!  Until next time...keep looking for your special treasure....debbie

Spring is getting closer!

Yes, Spring is getting closer...the first 3 days of March have been beautiful...the cardinals are out, the sun is shining, and litle buds are actually popping up!  I have been working on getting my booth together (out at "The Barn" Pleasanton, Ks.) and its coming together pretty good...right now I have it decorated w/ everything for a primitive looking home.  Next month...I will begin decorating my booth for spring, as well as getting ready for my "Spring Show" at my home.  Will try and post pictures real soon.  Some items I have already gotten for spring are:  wicker rocker, white bench, trellis, bird-bath, cute little red tricycle, watering cans....just to name a few!   Of course, bunnys are on hand too!  For now...I am back to the hunt....looking for more "garden themed items".  Well, I am going back outside and enjoy this weather....more later, debbie
